This our last chance to enjoy the Amber Garden and Dalmacia Restaurant - one of the last truly European restaurants left in Ottawa. After 25 years in the restaurant business, the owners, Czeslaw and Asia Nowacki, are retiring. The restaurant has been sold and will reopen as something completely different.
After a decade on Richmond Road, the Amber Garden merged with Dalmacia restaurant on Carling Avenue and continued serving traditional dishes from the Eastern European amber route, an ancient commercial trail that meandered from the Baltic to the Black Seas - Poland, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia.
Every meal is prepared by hand on the premises using only the freshest ingredients. The Single Gourmet has been holding events at with the Amber Garden and Dalmacia Restaurant since it first opened in 1998. We are already mourning its passing.
Please joins us for a truly unique experience that may never again be possible in Ottawa.
